Life

Bio: Before her life was affected by the plague, Sakura lived a pretty normal and happy life. Growing up, she was all but outgoing. She was, as her mother said, “an easy target” for children to tease her because of her larger-than-normal forehead. Because of this Sakura has always been more sensitive and emotional than others. When she was 17 her mother left her and her father (for reasons unknown to Sakura), and it forced Sakura to make a decision about what she wanted to do with her life, in order to provide for her father. After going to a few different lectures on different jobs, she was most inspired by one on becoming a nurse, so much so that she moved off the mainland to begin training as a nurse at the age of 18. Last year, when she received one of her weekly phone calls from her father, she was crushed to learn that he had contracted the disease that was spreading throughout the world. She wanted to return to him at once, but her father was strictly against it, saying that he would have good enough medical care on the mainland and that she had to continue on with her training as a nurse. Hesitantly, she did as he wanted, but recently he became sick with second stage infection and she has become extremely worried for him. She works at the hospital on the island and also trains to become a nurse there, she lives by herself.
